IN LOVING MEMORY

Miss Empryeal Rose
aka Little Missy or Rose

4-4-08 to 7-11-08

Rose was full of life and had such a love for people.  She was always the first one at the gate, waiting to give you a little nuzzle.  She could have been such a special girl but the Lord decided he had a different plan for her.   She will be remembered forever in our hearts.

Futurity Fairest Comandres

1998-2009

Tughill Commando-TVM World's Fairest

I was so excited to get Mandy as the newest addition to our breeding program.  Needless to say I am heartbroken that I never got to see even one foal from her.  On August 13th Mandy was laid to rest and buried here at Canaan Farms in the pasture that she loved.  I will miss her dearly but I know she is running in the pastures of heaven ....I'll be excited to see her again someday...no pain, no suffering,  just running free.

CHARLESTOWN ANGELIQUE
1990-2011

When I brought Angelique home I was so excited.  She was owned by Chris and Sue Nerland and they had bred her to their beautiful stallion Winston for a 2009 foal.  Unfortuately for me there never did come a foal but I had high hopes to breed Angelique to my stallion Pride and Peace one day.  Each season came and went as I continued to decide not to breed due to the economy.  I said one more time "maybe next year".  I'm very sad that I will never have a chance to breed this wonderful old lined mare but she will remain forever in my heart.  Angelique is buried at our youth ranch in Pacolet and there will be a fountain built in her name.  Everytime I go to the ranch I'll be able to look at that fountain and think of my lovely Angelique.  She had a good life here at Canaan Farms and I know I'll see her again "someday"!

PJM Preferibility

"Billy" sired many horses in our breeding program and although he was owned by one of my dearest friends he was part of the family.  He was injured as a 2 year old and never had an opportunity to go in the show ring but many of his offspring did.  In 2007 Billy was awarded by the AMHA the "Stallion with the most western pleasure winners in the ladies division" award.   In 2008 the injury that had ended his career as a show horse finally ended his career as a breeding stallion and ultimately ended his life.  We will treasure the memory of this beautiful, talented and wonderful stallion through all his offspring and the memories we all share.  Frozen Semen Only
